Service: Spinal Surgeons

Challenge: The client wanted a site that was better designed for creating and capturing patient sales leads via organic search. The site also needed to emphasize the doctors’ personalized approach to their practice, and it needed to help diminish the fear that many back patients have regarding spine surgeons (that a visit to a spinal surgeon will automatically mean a recommendation for spine surgery).

Solution: We redesigned identifiers of the practice, switching from medical procedures performed to medical conditions treated. Our extensive research and experience with search engines determined that potential patients research doctors and medical professionals from the standpoint of their suspected medical conditions and not typically through the medical procedures that would serve as treatment for their maladies. Additionally we clearly illustrated the doctors’ philosophies on treatment in a concise (search engine optimized) FAQ section, as well as throughout the treatment and conditions content on the site.  We also conceived, developed and continue to upkeep the site’s blog to help drive targeted, local organic search traffic.

Result: Year one: +45% increase in site traffic and +10% increase in organic Google search
