Our Process for Web Development
A paradigm shift is occurring in consumer behavior. The passive model consumer interaction, represented by messaging seen as interruptive and an irritant, exemplified by broadcast advertising, is on the decline. Today consumers actively seek information, with the web as their primary search portal. But the web is not alone in easing and exemplifying this paradigm shift. Search engines, social networks, blogs, web-based videos, Twitter, pay-per-click, webinars and more are the new media channels consumers are spending time on. And these are the avenues where you can reach them.
Our agency takes an innovative omni-channel approach favored by forward thinking agencies to planning a marketing campaign. We start by examining a client’s revenue streams and then building a platform to drive results and revenues with measurable and traceable results. SEO is just one component of that overall effort.

Web marketing has two very important aspects
- traffic
- conversation
SEO drives site traffic. Notwithstanding blogs, PPC, social media, video, and other channels that can help the process, SEO optimizes content for the way your customers and search engines are looking for it. SEO ensures your messaging includes the terms prospects use to search for the products and services you offer, and that it has the kind of information they want to find once they land on your site.
Analyzing your site traffic
Is your site performing as well as it should? A logical place to start an evaluation is an analysis of your web traffic. The web is a remarkable and effective media. Build a site, and they will come. But will they stay? That’s the key question. The goal isn’t simply to get visitors to your site, but to engage them – convince them of something, sell them something, or get them to email or call you.
If you have any web presence and your site is moderately functional, initially you will likely see traffic volume increasing on a month-over-month basis. However, if you examine your bounce rate, you are likely to see it is very high. Site visitors look at the landing page, and immediately back click to the search engine because they don’t like, don’t want, or don’t trust what they see. Ideally, a site’s bounce rate should be under 40%. We track bounce rates and send clients monthly tracking reports that include this data. And when we incorporate SEO into their sites, along with better visuals, better presentation, better content, a discount offer, or other optimized content, clients see their bounce rates drop.
